Italian Serie A side Napoli have played down speculation from the English media linking Marek Hamsik with a £25million move to Chelsea.

Indeed, the sporting director of the Naples outfit, Riccardo Bigon, has stated that the 22-year-old Slovakia international will be staying with the club.

"We have not received any official offer. But if some clubs are monitoring our players it gives us pleasure because it means we are doing a good job," said Bigon. "But Hamsik is an important player and he will remain with us."

The midfielder joined Napoli from Brescia in the summer of 2007 and is under contract until June 2012. Slovakia World Cup Tickets are now available online.
